Noise (2022)

Mexican film acclaimed in San Sebastián and with great critical support that tells the story of a mother in search of her daughter. All in a country like Mexico where violence against women is especially intense.

My Father’s Dragon (2022)

Anyone who has been lucky enough to follow the career of Tomm Moore knows that Irish animation has to be taken seriously. Nora Twomey co-directed the magnificent The Secret of the Book of Kells with him. He made his solo debut with the equally great The Bread of War (also available on Netflix). And now he hits the mark again with this 2D animated story about a boy and a dragon with a lot to tell him.

Enola Holmes 2

Did Sherlock have a sister? That is what we all ask ourselves with this Netflix film starring Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill. Enola Holmes 2 brings us back to the young detective. Now without the need for introductions. Everything is more frantic and direct to what matters, the mystery to solve.

All Quiet on the Western Front (2022)

Pure and acclaimed war cinema is what this film that Germany has sent to the Oscars promises and gives us. The story, written by Erich Maria Remarque, had already been successful with its adaptations in 1979 and 1930.

Wendell & Wild (2022)

Henry Selick, the director of The Nightmare Before Christmas. And The Worlds of Coraline has not made his best film, perhaps because of the presence in the script. And in the voices of Jordan Peele and his comic partner, Keegan-Michael Key. But that does not mean that this story of an orphan surrounded by demons does not have enough to stand out on the Netflix billboard.
