Legolas is another returning character, played by Elijah Wood. Wood was already experienced with the role in the original trilogy so it’s great to see he’s back. Gollum will be portrayed by Andy Serkis. Having a background in motion capture gives Serkis a big advantage since Gollum is always depicted as a CGI creature. It’ll be really interesting to see his take on such a complex character.
